My experience

From coding scared to leading teams

More than ten years and seven stops: government, national brands, companies abroad and, today, the world of CRM. Thanks to remote work and flexible setups, I combine a main role with a couple of collaborations. This is the path that got me here.

  1. 2014

    My working-world baptism

    PHP Developer

My first real project, won with a PHP test I didn't even know. I wasn't paid, but I walked away with the best possible lesson (the full story is in About). I'll keep the company's name to myself: it was my baptism, I'm not here to give anyone a bad rep.

  2. 2016

    H. Ayuntamiento de Jáltipan

    Tech support & web developer

Tech support for every department and, from scratch, a platform for the Treasury office to track supplies (fuel, cleaning items, medications). My first system with real impact inside an institution.

  3. Since 2018

    Quaxar

    From Jr Analyst to CTO

Where I grew the most: I started as a Jr Analyst and today I'm CTO. I learned Laravel, hybrid mobile development (Ionic, React Native), some Ruby on Rails and AWS, dealing with clients and, above all, how to lead. I built SyD's loyalty platform end to end (a national auto-parts brand): development, architecture, AWS hosting and database. I also maintain their internal CRM in Laravel (their flagship product) and their mobile app.

  4. Since 2020 · Freelance

    WPBullet · Europe

    WordPress in depth

My first company abroad and my first steps working in English. Here I truly mastered WordPress: code, hooks, child themes, custom plugins and, above all, performance and optimization (with tools like PageSpeed Insights). Also my first serious brush with AI, back when ChatGPT was just being born. A flexible collaboration, no fixed schedule.

  5. 2021 to 2022

    Bounteous / Domino's Pizza

    Fullstack Senior Developer

As a Fullstack Senior Developer, I maintained and built all of Domino's sites across Latin America, including the online order tracker people use every day. I worked with a framework of the company's own (React-like) and coordinated with international teams, which took my English to another level. I learned what it takes to keep a high-traffic e-commerce platform running, where an outage shows instantly and every detail counts.

  6. 2023 to 2024

    INFOTEC · Federal Government

    Senior Developer & Team Lead

My time in the federal government, and one of the most challenging. As a Senior Developer and Team Lead, I supported and evolved the payroll system of agencies like IMSS, ISSSTE and Correos de México, systems that thousands of workers depend on to get paid. Beyond coding, I coordinated the team, reviewed code and made sure everything ran right: with payroll, there's no room for error. Working at that scale, with all the responsibility and red tape the public sector involves, taught me a lot.

  7. 2025 · Present

    Mphasis / HP

    CRM & campaigns

My current role and, for me, the crown jewel: reaching a company at this level, working for a global brand like HP, is one of those achievements you really feel. Here I stepped out of my comfort zone and made a big shift: I left pure development to dive fully into the world of CRM and marketing automation.

These days I move between Salesforce, push notification tools and building email campaigns: from the subject lines and pre-headers that decide whether someone opens or ignores a message, to the logic behind every send. It's surgical-precision work, because a campaign can reach a huge audience and there's no room for error: analytical to the last detail, methodical, and double-checking everything before hitting send.
